Вам слова: the individual movement techniques (IMT) ничего не говорят?
Американские руководства и в частности FM 21-75 говорят, что передвижение под огнем осуществляется или переползанием или перебежками по 3-5 секунд. Ничего другого там не предусмотрено.

А где здесь говориться про атаку цепью с криками "ура"? Просто говориться, что нужно развернуться из колонн в линию, или другое подобное построение.
