Интересен результат. Один американский учитель сегодня написал в USENET статью что умные талантливые дети из лени не выполняют заданий, добиваются чтобы у них нашли "инвалидность обучения". Что же ему ответили? А ответили ему соответственно стереотипам, что если ребенка заставлять учиться то он может покончить с собой (ребенок-жертва) или принести в школу пистолет и перестрелять соучеников и учителей (ребенок жертва/ребенок преступник), начать хулиганить и вылететь из школы, в результате чего придется учить его на дому поскольку закон штата требует (ребенок преступник).

The problem with this is that the kids with 504s have to be diagnosed with
some kind of disability that requires accommodation. You would deny them the
accommodation required by law.
And who knows? If you push them and push them, you might just push them into
depression and suicide, or into bringing a gun to school and using it on
classmates and teachers. Or you might get lucky and they'll just give you
the finger so that you have them expelled and the school system has to find a
way to home educate them (because expelling a student does not eliminate the
requirement for the state to educate him while he is within the age of
compulsory attendance). Hey, lets just push people until they exceed their
limits!
