We Poles on 1 VIII 1944 bagan to fight for our freedom and liberty against German in our Warsaw capitol. This was military raisng to make clean our country form bandits and beastias who killed milions of innocent civils, no matter child or grandfathers.
Second golas (political) of this Raising 44 was to fight against Soviet domination and occupation of Poland by communist regime installed with the support of Stalin’s Red Army.
After 63 long and bitter days of fighting we lost Battle for our freedom and liberty. Our capitol was smashed, burned to the ground by bandits German. Hundreds of tousends Poles were thorowed out form the city.
Soviets deliberatly did want to help us in this fight and deliberatly hampered even small Allied air support (PAF, RAF, SAAF, USAAF units).
It was easier for Stalin in 1945 to fix a new regime in Poland - pupet goverment - created form Soviet spys and traitors of Poland. We lost our freedom and liberty for many, many years.
Despite we totaly lost the Battle of Raisning 44 and paying for it horrible price (about 200 000 killed, many more wounded, totaly burned our Warsaw), we have never lost the spirit of values our secrefice and our love to be free form any foreign domination.
After 60 long years, this is the real victory of our defeted Heros of lonly Rising 44, many Poles did lost youg lifes (about 18 000 killed soldiers of Home Army, much more were civil victims of German’s crimes). And we shall never die under any black and red regimes, still we are Poles despiet German and Soviet occupation and milions Polish citisents - victims of both cruel regimes.
I want to pay the tribute for this Poles who started to fight for our country on 1 VIII 1944 on the Warsaw streets. We are still Poles due to their highest sacrefice.
