Боюсь что перед тем как разделаться с остальным миром США хотят прикончить Россию. Зачем они полезли именно в Афганистан если не для того чтобы подмять Среднюю Азию и выйти к Волге, а заодно обзавестись базами на границах Индии?

Citing Pope John Paul II's call on Saturday to resolve controversies between
nations by dialogue and not force, Chavez, a former paratrooper, said the
global fight against terrorism must respect human rights, national sovereignty
and international peace.
"The pope has spoken, but there are many heads of state who are talking too,"
said Chavez, who has courted states blacklisted by Washington.
"I spoke a few days ago with (Brazilian) President (Fernando Henrique) Cardoso,
Mexico's President (Vicente) Fox and Chile's President (Ricardo) Lagos, and we
are all worried and all in agreement," he added.
"We strongly support the fight against terrorism, but we cannot give carte
blanche to any action that could drag the world toward an even greater horror,"
Chavez said on his weekly radio talk show "Hello President." "
