На 2000 года четверка экспортеров нефти в США:
1. Саудия
2. Мексика
3. Канада ( 1300 тыс баррелей в день только нефти, 1700 вкл. нефтепродукты)
4. Венесуэла

"The top sources of U.S. crude oil imports in January 2003 were: Saudi Arabia (1.820 million barrels per day), Canada (1.621 million barrels per day), and Mexico (1.566 million barrels per day). This is the largest monthly amount of crude oil imported from Saudi Arabia since August 2001. Rounding out the top ten sources, in order, were Nigeria (0.798 million barrels per day), Iraq (0.600 million barrels per day), United Kingdom (0.411 million barrels per day), Venezuela (0.390 million barrels per day), Angola (0.245 million barrels per day), Kuwait (0.134 million barrels per day), and Colombia (0.120 million barrels per day). "

Не получается в 2000 и 2001 не так - третьи-четвертые - и без всяких забастовок.

Она так просела вдвое по сравнению с декабрем и втрое с январем 2002.

Вот здесь Нигерия на месте. А Саудия здорово выросла за последние годы, но,

возможно, это временное следствие венесуэльской забастовки.

Asia now takes over 40% of Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports, as well as the majority of its refined petroleum product exports. The United States is Saudi Arabia's second largest oil export market, followed by OECD Europe. During the first 10 months of 2001, Saudi Arabia exported 1.70 MMBD of oil (1.65 MMBD of crude) to the United States. For this time period, Saudi Arabia ranked second (after Canada, and just ahead of Venezuela) as a source of total (crude plus refined products) U.S. oil imports, and first for crude only (ahead of Mexico, Venezuela, and Canada). Saudi Arabia is eager to maintain and even expand its market share in the United States for a variety of economic and strategic reasons. During the first 10 months of 2001, Saudi Arabia's share of U.S. crude oil imports was 18% (up slightly from 17% in 2000).
