Уважаемые коллеги!

Николай Новичков в Джейнсе пишет, что в 2007 г. ОАЭ получит только первые два "Панциря" из 12 по графику на 2007 г. Задержка вызвана тем, что только в конце октября завершились испытания "Панциря" в ОАЭ, по результатам к-рых требуется некоторая доработка.

Остальное уже было в нашей печати.
Какая-то смурная статья Новичкова, который кажется работает в АРМС-ТАСС, а тут корреспондент Джейнса...

UAE must wait for Pantsirs

The United Arab Emirates ( UAE) will in 2007 receive only the first two serially produced Russian 96K6 Pantsir-S1 self-propelled (SP) short-range gun/surface-to-air missile air-defence systems from the 50 it has ordered.

The delay in deliveries has occurred because trials of the first engineering prototype, supplied in late 2006, are due for completion only in late October.

Based on test-firing data, some further optimisation of the systems is required.

The delivery of the remaining 48 Pantsir-S1s to the UAE will take place over the next three years under an amended schedule.

Original plans called for the supply of 12 units in 2007, 24 in 2008 and 14 in 2009. All systems will be supplied on an 8 x 8 wheeled platform acquired by the UAE from MAN trucks.

The Tula-based KBP Instrument Design Bureau, developer of the Pantsir, currently needs to increase serial production of the systems, orders for which have exceeded USD3 billion.

If more contracts are concluded shortly, this amount may exceed USD5 billion. In addition to the UAE, orders for Pantsir-S1 systems have come from Syria and Algeria, which plan to mount them on the Kamaz truck chassis.

Talks are under way with Greece as well as a number of countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

The contract with Syria to supply 36 Pantsir-S1 systems was concluded in 2005 (although some sources claim this order is for 40 systems), while in 2006, KBP signed a contract with Algeria for the supply of 18 Pantsir-S1 systems. Along with an option, the total number of systems ordered by Algeria could reach 38 units. In early 2007 the Pantsir-S1 conducted range trials in Jordan. Amman is currently planning to acquire the system, possibly paying for the procurement using state credit received from Russia.

Более трех милиардов - не много ли для трех заказов? Это в среднем на комплекс выходит под 30 миллионов.

Известно ли что нибудь о результатах стрельб в Иордании?

там т.Новичков слегка преувеличил - на КБП официально называют портфель заказов на "Панцири" в $2,5 млрд. Поделите это на количество комплексов (114) и получится чуть больше $20 млн за штуку - для современных образцов военной техники весьма умеренно.

~20 миллионов USD за "Панцирь" выглядят логичнее. Спасибо!
