ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 2003--Tri-State Broadband, a wireless systems integrator and provider of fixed wireless Internet access solutions for city and county governments, today announced the completion of construction of a 190 foot tower that will broadcast a "wireless last mile solution" utilizing a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless technology solution. John Overley, Vice President of Tri-State Broadband, stated the tower will broadcast a "high speed wireless internet signal" that subscribers can receive on a wireless modem "non-line-of-sight", up to 4 miles, and possibly further if conditions are right. In addition, a line-of-site service is also available offering speeds over 5 Megabytes per second.
