Order of Admiral Lee Sun Sin
(Lee Sun Sin Chaggun Hunchang)
Conferred to flag officers and navy commanders for outstanding leadership. 1st Class of the order is conferred to admirals, 2nd Class - to other officers (captains and commanders). This order seems not to be any more conferred .

Established: date unknown (ca. late 1940s or early 1950s).
Classes: two.
Badge:
1st Class: gold outlined, blue enameled five pointed star, 60 mm of diameter. Between the points there are five sets of plain gilt rays forming another star. two crossed gilt anchors are put under the upper star. Round gilt central medallion depicts the head of admiral Lee Sun Sin, surrounded by the gilt ring; the upper part of the ring holds the order's name, the lower one - two laurel sprays; both parts are separated by two small five pointed stars,
2nd Class: as above, but the rays of the lower star an central medallion are silver instead of gilt.
Badge (reverse): the name and class of the order; in the middle there is a screw for mounting.
Ribbon bar:
1st Class: 34 mm, navy blue with white edges (5 mm) and a yellow central stripe (3.5 mm),
2nd Class: as above, but with two central stripes instead of one, separated 2/3 mm from each other.
