SYDNEY, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Gas and electricity utility The Australian Gas Light Co said on Wednesday it planned to build a power generation plant at Somerton, north west of Melbourne in the southern Australian state of Victoria.
AGL said the plant would have a capacity of 150 Megawatts. No price was disclosed.
AGL shares closed up eight cents at A$11.81 in a firmer overall market.
