"In January 1941 the third Panzer Pionier Kompanie was reorganized as a fully armoured coy with a fourth light Zug providing support; the first two Panzer Pionier lug each had five PzKpfw I Ausf. B (plus one in the Kompanie Trupp) modified to carry a detachable Ladungsleger (explosive load), while the third Zug had six SdKfz 251 equipped with the Wurfrahmen 40 rocket launcher, a device capable of firing 280mm high-explosive and 320mm incendiary rockets".
