USAF loses second MQ-1 Predator in one week
The US Air Force (USAF) has lost two General Atomics Aeronautics Systems MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Iraq in less than a week. An armed MQ-1, operating out of Ali Air Base in the south of the country, crashed on 9 April approximately 80 km north of Baghdad, just six days after another Predator crashed while landing at Balad Air Base in northern Iraq
