"Гранма" (главная газета на Кубе) признала участие генерала в торговле наркотиками, среди прочиx его греxов. Там цитаты из Рауля Кастро и т.д.:
in another Granma editorial, the Cuban government extended its explanation of the Ochoa-de la Guardia cases; now the two were being implicated in drug-trafficking. It was contended that Ochoa had developed a relationship with officials in MININT through the de la Guardia brothers: ' The cooperation of the de la Guardia brothers...helped Ochoa a great deal.. .thus violating all norms, regulations, document controls, and trips strictly established by the MINFAR."[17] The specific concern was the travels of Ochoa's assistant, Capt. Martinez, and his meetings with representatives of the so-called Medellin group in Colombia. It was alleged that Martinez had actually met with the head of that group, Pablo Escobar
