Да, слишком часто за последние годы с Ф-16, не только в Израиле...Как раз не так давно обсуждали это с "безвременно" ушедшим с тусовки vlad'ом.
Вот заметка из вчерашнего "Гаарец'а":
IAF F-16 crashes in south
An F-16 fighter plane crashed in the south of the country
Tuesday afternoon. The pilot managed to eject himself to
safety.
After a warning notified the pilot that there was a
problem with his engine, he was forced to eject during a
regular training flight just south of Hatzerim Airbase. The
pilot was transferred to Tel Hashomer hospital for a
routine check-up after being rescued.
Major General Dan Halutz, head of the Israel Air Force,
appointed a committee to investigate the accident.
This is the fifth F-16 accident in the IAF in the past two
years. On March 27, this year an F-16 went down off the
coast of Atlit, killing the pilot, Major Yonatan Begin, and
the co-pilot, Lieutenant Lior Harari. In February, another
F-16 crashed near Mitzpeh Ramon, due to engine failure.
On March 28, 1999 an F-16 crashed off the coast of
Ashkelon because of a technical failure. The pilot
emerged unscathed and the co-pilot was moderately
injured. On August 9, 1998 , just after take off, yet
another F-16 crashed again due to technical failure.
