The binnacle unit (consisting of the steering wheel with tilt/telescoping features, all driving controls, brake pedal, accelerator, and parking brake) is also powered for individual height adjustment. This height adjustment of the seat and binnacle allows for open or closed hatch vehicle operation. The binnacle also has slide capability for left or right handed steering, changeable at any speed. On the GPV 8x8x8 Truck, there is left, center, and right hand drive steering, allowing for continuous long missions by alternating drivers without changing seat positions thus reducing fatigue on any one person. Also, in case of driver incapacitation, the co-driver can easily slide the steering controls over directly in front of him to continue vehicle drivability without interruption.
Ни хрена ж себе... То есть не просто конверсия из праворульного в лево- или среднерульный вариант, но еще и НА ХОДУ???
Или у меня с английским проблемы?
Интересно, когда появится первый гражданский концепт с подобной фичей? ИМХО, достаточно скоро.
