"Late in 2004 it was revealed that Altair had developed a remotely operated launcher for Strela as Ghibka and that this was expected to enter service with the Russian Navy during 2005.
Ghibka is designed to provide a self-defence capability for ships down to 200 tonnes displacement and consists of the remotely-operated stabilised 3M47 launcher with integral electro-optic module. On either side of the launcher are two firing units each with two Igla launcher-containers with two more firing units in reserve for manual reloading. Each launcher weighs 1.3- 2 tonnes and is designed for single or twin launch."
