Structure: An improvement on the Yavuz class. Mk 29 Sea Sparrow launchers fitted in the first two, while the second pair have Mk 41 VLS aft of the funnel, which will be retrofitted in the first two in due course. The ships have CODOG propulsion for a higher top speed. Other differences with Yavuz include a full command system, improved radars and a citadel for NBCD protection. A bow bulwark has been added in the second pair.
Operational: Helicopter has Sea Skua anti-ship missiles. The first pair used as Flagships.
