Нет, уважаемый А.Никольский, В-52Н как летали с двиглами TF33 - так и летают. Хотя вопрос об их замене на новые двигатели постоянно обсуждается еще с конца 70-х гг. Последний раз вроде бы "Роллс-Ройсы" RB211 собирались ставить, но ВВС отказались.
"The Boeing Defense & Space Group (now Boeing Information, Space and Defence Systems Group) submitted a revised proposal to re-engine the B-52H following the conclusion from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) that the initial proposal was not cost-effective. The revised proposal structures the programme to current funding restraints and features a flexible lease arrangement in which it would charge less for the engines early in the lease and more later on. Core of the programme includes replacing the eight Pratt & Whitney TF33 turbofan engines with four Rolls-Royce RB211-535 turbofans built in the US by the Rolls-Royce subsidiary, Allison. However, the USAF has stated it sees no requirement to re-engine the fleet, with the TF33 likely to be retained."
А эксплуатировать В-52Н ВВС США планируют до 2044 года.
