Formed from renamed Minen-Raum.Abt 1 on 15 Sep 41 with two Kp. Renamed Pz.Abt.300 (F.L.) and expanded to 3 Kp on 9 Feb 42. Transferred to the Eastern front in Apr 42 to participate in the attcks on the fortifications surrounding Sevastopol. After Sevastopol was captured Pz.Abt.(F.L) 300 was transferred north with the intention of particpating in the attacks on the fortifications surrounding Leningrad. On 9 Sep 42 it was renamed Pz.Abt (Fkl) 301.

Formed from renamed Pz.Abt.(F.L.) 300 on 9 Sep 42 with three Kp. On 20 Oct 42 3./Pz.Abt.302 transferred to Pz.Abt.301 and renamed 2.Kp. Old 2.Kp. transferred and renamed 3./Pz.Abt.302 on 1 Nov 42. Absorbed Pz.Abt.(Fkl) 302 and expanded to four Kp. on 25 Jan 43. 1.Kp. renamed Pz.Kp.(Fkl) 315 on 6 Jul 43. Transferred to Italy. 1.Kp. reformed from renamed Pz.Kp.(Fkl) 312 on 7 Apr 44. Pz.Abt.(Fkl) 301 was sent to H.Gr.Nordukraine on the Eastern Front on 5 Jun 44. 4.Kp. remained behind in the West and was attached to 2.Pz.Div. Pz.Abt.(Fkl) 301 was ordered to convert to Tiger Tanks on 19 Aug 44. Renamed Pz.Abt.(Tiger/Fkl) 301 on 2 Sep 44. Listed with 47.Volks Gren.Div on 16 Dec 44. Attached to 9.Pz.Div on 23 Dec 44. 4.Kp. renamed 3.Pz.Abt.(Fkl) 303 on 2 Jan 45.
