Вот такая вот встреча...

Часто публекуются фото с авиа-встречами: как-то Ту-95
с "Фантомом" или же "Харриером". А вот флотских фото
не так много видел.

Нельзя ли отсканировать на 300 DPI?

Классическое бодание это под Севастополем с USS Caron :)

Насколько мне известно, USS Walker (DD/DDE-517) эсминец класса Fletcher принимал с 1965
года участие в морских операциях против Сев.
Вьетнама. 10 мая он препятствовал манёврам
Советского эсминца, которые тот принимал против авианосца "Хорнет" (являющегося штабом флота). В один из моментов "Walker" пересекая
курс Сов. эсминца столкнулся с ним. Поврежде-
ния, полученные обеими кораблями были незначительны, но резонанс в мире был велик.
В СМИ СССР естественно было молчание.

А наших кораблей похоже было 2 :)

The need for an agreement to regulate the increasingly aggressive behaviors of the two navies had become readily apparent in the 1960s as the growing Soviet Navy ventured out onto the world's oceans to challenge U.S. maritime supremacy. Soviet spy trawlers were cutting into U.S. carrier task forces to interfere with flight and replenishment operations. Meanwhile, American warplanes were "buzzing" Soviet ships with low-level passes. On 10 and 11 May 1967 the destroyer USS Walker was bumped by two different Soviet destroyers that had been attempting to close on the carrier USS Hornet during operations in the Sea of Japan. When he was chief of naval operations, Adm. Elmo R. Zumwalt recalled being harassed in the Baltic while in command of the destroyer USS Dewey. Zumwalt referred to the incidents as games of "chicken" and expressed concern that Sailors could be unintentionally injured or even killed. In fact, a number of Soviet Sailors were killed when the British carrier HMS Ark Royal sliced into a Soviet destroyer on 9 November 1970.

А если можно - подробности столкновения советского эсминца с английским авианосцем "Арк Ройал" на Средиземном море в 60-е годы?

Accidents and Disasters:
British, Soviet Ships Collide

The British aircraft carrier Ark Royal and a Soviet Kotlin 365 class destroyer collided November 9 in the eastern Mediterranean where the British ship was engaged in a joint navy-air force exercise called "Lime Jug." Neither vessel was seriously damaged, a British navy spokesman said. The Soviet ship lost two seamen.

Each country accused the other of being at fault. Britain November 14 accused the destroyer of disregarding international regulations for the prevention of collisions at sea. The Soviet military newspaper Red Star countered November 20 that the British ship had "failed to give the usual signs of preparation for the take-off of aircraft." The 40,030-ton Ark Royal--largest warship in the British fleet--lacked maneuverability because aircraft were being launched from her deck, Captain Raymond Mungo, the commander of the ship, said at a press conference November 17.

Отсканировать-то можно. Проблем нет. Только --- завтра.
Заодно укажу источник.
