Кто знает, как был угнан "Су-9" на запад?

HI!
1963/64 Su-9 Soviet Union Defection to Iran. Aircraft and pilot quickly transfered to the United States.
Вот тут я вообще со стула упал. А как это было?

In one of less well known similar incidents, in 1963, a disappointed Soviet pilot flew his Su-9 interceptor to Abadan, in Iran. Not much is known about this incident, but the plane and the pilot were picked up by officers of the Foreign Technology Division (FDT), as the ATIC - now under US Air Force Systems Command, but directly controlled by Pentagon - was renamed in 1961. After being disassembled within 24 hours the Su-9 was transported to the USA, while the pilot followed shortly after. Almost certainly this was one of main factors which lead to a relatively early retirement of the Su-9 interceptor from active service.

Именно "Миг"? Миг-15 в марте 1953-го. До него Ла-11 в мае 1949-го.

нет беглых чехов на миг-15

25.08.90 старший лейтенант Ван Баоюй посадил свой МиГ-19 во Владивостоке. Побоялся малый лететь сквозь ПВО северной Кореи в Южную. Решил что у нас ПВО послабее будет. Старлей выразил свое несогласие с ходом реформ и событиями на площади Тянанмынь и не мешкая попросил отправить его к американцам.
Ну и что, что ПВО... Зато мы дружбой народов крепки! Он даже соскучиться не успел по жене и годовалому сынишке, как его обратно отправили.
