БМП "Атом" УВЗ и Рено могут заморозить из-за Украины

Вольво заявило, как я понял, что эта разработка находилась на самой ранней стадии, а развитие ситуации на Украине может повлиять (то есть отменить) проект

STOCKHOLM--Swedish commercial vehicle group Volvo AB (VOLV-B.SK) said developments in Ukraine could affect budding ties with Russian battle tank manufacturer Uralvagonzavod for the production of an infantry combat vehicle.
Volvo said it is in the "very early stages" of a feasibility study into possible cooperation between its French subsidiary Renault Trucks Defense, its Swedish Volvo brand and the Russian firm. The plan is for the Swedish group to deliver drive line parts and engines for a new 30-metric ton combat vehicle for the Russian army, slated to replace the BTR-80s, an 8-wheeled armored personnel carrier.
The group has received the necessary approvals from the French government to look into potential cooperation between the companies, said Volvo spokeswoman Karin Wik, but the situation in Ukraine "could affect the deal."
Ultimately, Volvo will leave it up to international organizations to decide whether events in Ukraine would lead to any restrictions on dealing with Russia, she said.
"If we decide to move ahead with a deal, we would make sure it is in accordance with French, Swedish as well as American law," Ms. Wik said.
Volvo AB isn't affiliated with Volvo Car Corp., which is owned by China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. (0175.HK).
