>Оказали помощь в строительстве и пуске не то же самое, что "практически все крупные обьекты советской индустриализации были спроектированы на западе".
Albert Kahn, 1869-1942, an architect of German-Jewish origin, born 1869 (Rhaunen, Germany) died 1942 (Detroit), had an astonishing career from the beginning of this century. He is best known for his industrial architecture as related to the rising auto industry and the US war effort in World War I and World War II.
During the Great Depression in the US, the Soviet Union government comissioned him to design most of the industrial complexes of the so-called Five Year Plan, which turned out to be more than 530 plants in a period of two-and-a-half years.
