Dear friend,
for some years I'm trying to reach some information's about Royal Yugoslav Savoia Marchetti SM.79's that flew from Yugoslavia to SSSR territory on April 10/11 back in 1941.
They landed with their crews at Kisnjev and Stara Formiskaja (probable spelling), and probable on one more airfield. Also one civilian registered Coudron was flown by two pilots and one mechanic also to SSSR. I have some statements from SM.79 crews and some from Coudron crew. I'm desperately looking for any info about aircraft's fates. What happened with Savoia's and Coudron. Did Soviet AF used them or destroyed them, or what? I'm also looking for photographs of these airplanes if there's any.
Is there any one who can help me, or could you direct me to someone who can. I'll appreciate it very much.
