A swarm led by Lt O.Puhakka took off for interception north from Lake Lempaala. They saw twelve enemy fighters which were prepairing to land Kasimovo. Lt Puhakka attacked from sun one of the slowflying fighters but his machine guns
didn´t work. The AAA start to shoot against the attacking Fiats. Korpisalo attacked the same fighter as Puhakka, but his missed and flew direct on front of enemy fighter, which had got its flaps and gears up after Puhakka´s attack, and became shot down. His plane crashed close the runway.
Немного другая версия событий с того же сайта:
8.7.1942
A six plane flight led by Lt Puhakka was ordered to intercept flight where they met four Spitfires near Kasimovo. Both sides lost one plane.
Согласно SIH 18 FA-03 был сбит в 18:30 в районе Касимово в бою с ЛаГГами 11 гиап.
Насколько я понимаю этот сбитый соответствует групповой победе пары ст. лт. Титовец и лт. Данилов.
