Australia's commitment
Up to 1000 troops including:
- 150 SAS soldiers
- 2 Boeing 707 air-to-air refuellers (30 y.o., 100 crew)
- Frigate HMAS Anzac (already in Persian Gulf - 200 crew)
IF NEEDED
- P3-C Orion long-range survalliance aircraft (100 crew)
- Troop carrier HMAS Manoora (200 crew)
- Escort frigate (200 crew)
- 250 soldiers on exchange with US and British units
