(Chicago) Sept. 11, 2001 9:30AM CDT - United Airlines is working with all relevant authorities to obtain further information about today's tragic and terrible events. Our thoughts are with everyone who may have been involved in this situation. United cannot confirm any press reports at this time. Media calls should be directed, for now, to the FBI. In line with the FAA directions, United has put a ground stop on all of its operations worldwide. Further information will be provided when it is available.
