One 1st Infantry Division Soldier Killed by Roadside Bomb
Tikrit, Iraq – One 1st Infantry Division Soldier was killed when anti-Iraqi forces attacked his combat patrol with an improvised explosive device near Ad Duluiyah on November 27 at about 7:28 a.m. The explosion also damaged a M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation.
