Во чего накопал про суеверия американских танкистов:
- My son says not to send apricots in any form! It's bad luck for tankers. Something dating back to the begining of Tanks.
- Its a US armoured tradtion, not international- as they are suppossed to make the tanks break down. Stems from the vietnam war apparently.
A google search revealled: http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/5791/Apricots.html which sheds some light on this.
В общем, сын просил отца не присылать абрикосов ни в каком виде - примета плохая.
Н-да. Беспокоятся о детях, гостинцы посылают...
