What I remember Finnish military found the flamethrowers used in these tanks unreliable (especially so in cold weather) and not that terribly effective. The 45-mm tank-gun however worked very well no matter the weather. Gun-armed tanks were also seen more versatile then flamethrower-tanks. Also machinegun-only armed T-26A (T-26 model 1931) tanks went throught the similar rearming, but they also got new turrets taken from T-26B or T-26C tanks, which had damaged beyond repair.

However the OT-130 and OT-133 tanks converted as gun-armed tanks were not known as T-26E but T-26B and T-26C. OT-26 didn't see battle use in Finnish Army (If I remember right there was only one of the them and it was used as training vehicle only). Besides the number of captured OT-130 and OT-133, which the Finns managed to repair for their own use was quite small (one Tank Platoon had them all).

In Finnish naming system:
- T-26E = British made Vickers 6 ton tank rearmed with Soviet 45-mm tank-gun and coaxial DT-machinegun. (E = English)
- T-26A = T-26 model 1931 (two turrets, one DT-machinegun per turret)
- T-26B = T-26 model 1933 (one turret with 45-mm gun + DT MG, turret sides streight vertical ones)
- T-26C = T-26 model 1938 and model 1939 (one turret with 45-mm gun + DT MG, turret with sloped sides)

OT-130 rearmed with 45-mm gun + DT MG was classed as T-26B because of its turret and rearmed OT-133 was equally classed as T-26C. However OT-133 and OT-133 modified as T-26B and T-26 had some easy to notice difference when compared to ordinary T-26B and T-26C:
They had extra DT hull-machinegun at front side left side of the hull and 4th man was added to crew as machinegunner who used it.

I suggest this excellent page about T-26 variations in Finnish use (there is even on ex OT-133 converted as T-26C among them):
