Consolidated PB4Y-2 "Privateer":

Lockheed P2V "Neptune"

July 20th, 2002. Broomfield Colorado, USA.
A service crew of the Jeffco Air Tanker Station work on a PB4Y-2 Neptune slurry bomber. The plane, #121 is the sister ship to the PB4Y-2 based out of Jeffco that crashed on July 18th, killing the crew of 2. All PB4Y-2's have been grounded to service checks on the over 50 year old referbished military aircraft that have had a series of fatal crashes in the last few years. Photo by: Jonathan Castner
