(IsraelWire-10/3) Chief PLO Authority (PA) negotiator Dr Saeb Erekat on Monday
evening told CNN “Israel is negotiating with bullets and missiles,” calling upon the
international community to dispatch an inquiry team to the region to “stop the
massacres”.
Erekat stated that despite repeated requests to Israel to leave the “areas of friction,”
soldiers continue to engage Arabs in conflicts, leading to a death toll of 43. The
senior PA official added that the number of wounded has reached 1,247, leading to
the evacuation of some of the wounded to medical facilities in Jordan. He explained
that Jordanian helicopters that landed in Ramallah during the day also evacuated
some wounded to the Hashemite Kingdom.
