This missile is named "Kerres" - hook in Hebrew, which was used by the IAF to destroy the SAM
missiles in Lebanon. Those missiles were developed according to IAF specification and are a ground
version of the Standard ARM (Anti Radiation Missile) missile designated RGM-66D. The Kerres
battery is combined of several launch trucks connected to a control truck. After the battery deploys,
the control unit feeds the frequency information to the missile's system, and upon launch - the missiles
will home on the SAM's battery radar.
The Kerres system is a further development of the older Kachlilit missile which was Shrike missile with
booster mounted on top of a Sherman tank chassis.
