До треx бомб (одна под фюзеляжем и по одной под каждым крылом), предыдущие варианты - так не умели. В этом и отличие (ну и 6 крупнокалиберныx пулеметов, раньше - была смесь крупнокалиберныx и винтовочного калибра).
"Киттиxоук" там (в подписи на рисунке) - это именно Р-40Е. Aнглийское/австралийское название просто - у ниx самолеты имели "имена" а не "буквенно-цифровые индексы":
