One of the best films I've seen
My word this film really is quite unbelievable. It's not often that I find myself really caring for the characters and coming close to tears during a film but that's what happened in Braveheart. From the moment that William Wallace's father went into the hut and saw all those people who had been hanged I was involved. I was really upset when William's father was killed, and I was genuinely pleased when William married Muran (I think it's spelt like that). When the English soldier killed Muran I was so angry and I felt elated when William got his revenge by giving the soldier the same fate. However it did not bring Muran back. I felt proud when William was giving his speech about freedom, and I'm not even Scottish! I'm English! But I really started to hate the English during the course of the film. I was also really upset when Hamish's father died and Hamish was really upset too. I can't tell you how much I wanted Longshanks dead, and when they finally caught Wallace and he was being tortured, I really felt his pain, and was grimacing with him all the way. I was really pleased when we were told the Scots won their freedom, and even though Wallace was dead, he had won. Mel Gibson, you are a complete genius, and I have to say you have produced one of the best films ever. I salute you big style.

A brilliant film
Mel Gibson's scottish accent is so good!i dunno how he does it! this film is great. full of everything: fighting, adventure, love, etc. A really good story line.
вообще ВСЕ отзывы на в.у. сайте ПЯТь звезд за двумя исключениями - судя по ВИФу вероятный опрос показал бы симметрично противоположную картину :)
