This is a great article – I agree with everything he says. Unfortunately, our senior leaders have made us so risk-averse that in many ways we’ve lost the ability to fight that we had when I was leading Soldiers.
Back in my day, we didn’t even wear body armor – move fast and hit hard. Lots of great lessons learned here – that we learned once and have since forgotten.
