Мне кажется что Вы не совсем правы
ознакомление к источниками дает такие описания,навскидку

Finally, the reconnaissance party broke contact and, using plastic explosives, cleared a lane out of the minefield and returned unharmed"
Кртакая анатоция в соотв. Правилам -развед рейд <здесь Ан-Наджаф -поярдка 400тыс жителей> одной роты (вернее будет сказать,там по факту, ротной группы) - расход 65 танковых снарядов, 56 ПТУР vs нескольксо сотен ракет авиации и 24 тяжелых авиабомбы ,включая и 5 JDAM, (227кг и выше)..в общем много разных описаний есть.
