-Phil, a question. What is "gender" for the following words: ocean, sea, tank (Abrams M1A2 etc.), sword?
-Umm... in terms of the English language, they do not have a gender. Sailors frequently refer to the ocean/sea as female, but for tank and sword, I really think they are neutral.
