Kazakhstan sends military hardware to Indian defense exhibition

[Presenter, over archive footage showing pieces of military hardware at an
exhibition, Kazakh soldiers] Kazakhstan has exported the first consignment of
its excess arms. The Kazakh arms have been delivered to the Indian city of
New Delhi for a special auction which is to open today.
It is yet unknown what specific types of arms will be put up for sale by
the republic. According to information from the confederation of Indian
producers [presumably, the Confederation of Indian Industry, CII] which is
one of the organizers of the auction, the Kazakh part [of the exhibition]
will feature firearms, anti-aircraft systems, and, possibly, armoured
military vehicles and aircraft.
It is expected that Third World countries will purchase Kazakhstan's
second-hand arms.
