Кратко о SENIT из джейнс.

SENIT combat management system (France), Command information systems - Maritime

Development
Versions of SENIT (Système d'Exploitation Navale des Informations Tactiques) Combat Management System (CMS) have been installed in most French naval vessels and in vessels of a number of other navies. The latest are the SENIT 8 and 9 family, a variant of which is installed on board the Charles de Gaulle nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, and SENIT 2000, which has been derived from SENIT 8 by DCN for use in FPBs. In the latter the operating modes are designed specifically for coastal warfare, with special emphasis on anti-surface weapons, passive detection, tactical datalinks and fast response to 'pop-up' air threats. Both versions comply with all relevant NATO interoperability requirements, including tactical data Links 11, 16 and 22, and provide 3-D fusion of data from co-operating sensors which complies with the USN Co-operative Engagement Concept (CEC).

Description
The system has an open architecture based on a dual-redundant tactical network interfacing with all weapons and sensors, plus navigation and communications equipment, using protocols including ATM. A high level of functional integration is achieved as CIC and bridge operators have access to combat system, navigation, communication and platform management functions. The system also supports other tasks, including mission planning and management, debriefing and onboard simulation. The layered software allows all application modules to be independent of CMS hardware and combat system configuration.SENIT 8 and 2000 make extensive use of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software components including: flat panel multifunction consoles (allowing relocation to any combination of operator duties), Hewlett-Packard PA-RISC processors, standard operating systems (UNIX and POSIX), X-Windows and MOTIF graphical interfaces and ADA (tactical processes) and C++ (operator interfaces) programming languages. SENIT 8/9 uses Calisto consoles, SENIT 2000 Kongsberg KD 2000 multifunction console (see separate entries). In the Forbin (Horizon)-class destroyers the command and control system, which has been developed by Eurosysnav (a joint venture company set up by DCNS and Finmeccanica), is based upon the SENIT 8 system and is designed to track up to 1,000 targets simultaneously. It features 10 Solaris tactical computers of which two are for training/simulation and the remainder are divided evenly between operational and stand-by functions. The system features 24 consoles.A smaller version, SENIT 9, has been selected for the Mistral-class amphibious assault ships (Bâtiment de Projection et de Commandement). The SENIT 2000 Skjold-class configuration is a five-console system with an
