Not quite. They got a number of Dodge 3/4 ton vehicles ("beeps"), Chevy 1 1/2
tonners, and Studebaker and GMC 2 1/2 tonners. The Studebaker was their
favorite, but they took the GMC as the basis for their late-war ZIL-151 and
postwar ZIL-157 (and the BTR-152 APC) trucks. In Russian, "studebekker" is
still the term for a 6 x 6 truck.
