The only Christmas decorations in a makeshift bedroom in what used to be the Marines Bar at the US Embassy in Kabul were four sweat socks hung as Christmas stockings, complete with nickname-tags. The men plan to continue their duties providing security for the base even on Christmas day but will break for an early dinner together (KRT)
