1. The LAF delegation had a very modest list of old generation arms and equipment. The Russians encouraged them to ask for more advanced arms. So the delegation went back to the hotel, and made up a new list, however they didn't include anything for the Air force in it, for the reasons we know.
2. Later, while the Lebanese DM was meeting in private with his Russian counter part, he asked him, why can't Lebanon, who fought terrorism with old arms and who is barely equipped and lost a lot of soldiers for that, can't get modern arms?, the Russia counterpart responded by "Like what are you talking about?", here the Lebanese DM replied "For instance the Lebanese Air Force has old helicopters, not so operational, and non combatant, why arent we allowed to have for instance Mig-29?", according the the Lebanese DM, the Russian counter part responded by "who said such a thing is not allowed", Mr. Murr responded "I'm asking", Then the Russian DM replies "I will inform you today, as long as you are interested in this subject, that Russia will start aiding LAF by providing it with 10 Mig-29 including a training program and should arrive to Lebanon next year after finishing the training.

3. Russia has broken all the bariars in front of arming the LAF.
4. Any country in the world that is willing to aid the LAF should see what Russia did, especially that all the previous pleas and excuses are from now non-existing.
5. No Western country can aid the LAF the way and the level Russia did, due to internal and external reasons.
6. The US aided the LAF however with light and medium arms, whenever we talked about advanced equipment, such as tanks, missiles, and aircrafts, the Americans always informed us that this needs approvals, discussions in the congress, and studies etc... the days passed and nothing was done. However in Russia, during only 3 hours meeting yesterday and 2 hours today Russia provided an aid in a level that is very high that whatever aid from someone else will come below that level.
7. Lebanon can't accomodate more than one squadron of these advanced jets.
8. The Lebanese Air Force helicopters will be also Russian because we want to unify the maintenance.
9. During the meeting, the Russians were ready to discuss T-90 tanks. We will discuss this subject with the LAF commands in Beirut.
