NABLUS, WEST BANK, 23-AUG-2001: Palestinian policemen inspect the destroyed car of Jihad al-Masimi, a local leader of Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement, following an Israeli attack on it near the West Bank town of Nablus August 23 2001. Al-Masimi, 46, his driver and a passer by were injured when Israeli troops fired two rockets at the car near the Balata refugee camp, south of Nablus, in a failed assassination attempt.
