В Гвинее МиГ-21У свалился на местное телевидение
В понедельник в столице Гвинеи Конакри МиГ-21У гробанулся прямо на крышу местного телерадиоцентра RTG (и аккурат напротив американского посольства). К счастью, никто не погиб, хотя несколько человек были ранены. Самолет пилотировали лично командующий ВВС Гвинеи и русский инструктор, оба катапультировались, главком сломал ногу. Собравшаяся на площали по сему случаю толпа устроила беспорядки и ее пришлось утихомиривать слезоточивым газом.
Предположительная причина крушения - столкновение с птицей на взлете.

Mig-21 fighter jet crashes leaving one injured in Guinea
A Guinean Mig-21 fighter jet on Monday crushed into the building where Guinea's national Radio and Television (RTG) is located in Conakry, capital of Guinea leaving one person injured, according to news reaching here.
The plane belonging to the country's air force crushed at around 11: 30 local time (GMT), damaging the roof of the new premises housing the RTG, directly opposite the U.S. embassy in Conakry, capital of Guinea, according to the Guinean official website.
Mangue Mory, a cameraman working with the RTG was injured. Meanwhile the two pilots who were in the plane escaped unhurt after managing to eject from the plane moments before the accident occurred, according to the same source.
Fire fighters managed to put down the flames caused by the accident while Communication Minister Justin Morel Junior, Transport Minister Boubacar Sow, Security Minister Beau Keita, Defense Minister Arafan Camara and army chief Kerfalla Camara visited the site of the accident.
The plane was taking part in a regular exercise at the time of the accident, according to the website.
