Здесь можно выделит два перла но оба принадлежат сенатору Варнеру - кстати не самый глупый из них. В первом идет разговор о наследовании Путину, которое можно интерпретировать как угодно - как раз Макконнел и пытается разумно интерпретировать это - "put him in position and work the arrangements" - "поставить его [наследника] на соответствующий пост и проделать подготовительнуйы работу [в этом году]" - а что имел в виду Варнер - одному богу известно.
Во втором, Варнер упоминает Венгрию в связи с развертыванием ПРО а Макконелл его не поправляет.
Вцелом, Макконнел здесь не несет лажу - ну разве с очень большим натягом, а вот Варнер удивил.
