"The gun fires four types of Giat Industries fixed ammunition, APFSDS, HEAT, HE and smoke. The APFSDS round uses the penetrator of the 90 mm Giat Industries APFSDS round and has a muzzle velocity of 1,400 m/s. This will penetrate a NATO triple heavy tank target at a range of 2,000 m. The new APFSDS round weighs 13.1 kg complete, the projectile weighing 3.8 kg."

All 105 mm rounds intended for firing from the 105 mm F2 (MECA) gun are fixed, with the projectiles rigidly secured to their cartridge cases by two crimping rings; the OFL Mle F3 Armour-Piercing Fin-Stabilised Discarding-Sabot Tracer (APFSDS-T) round uses a single crimping ring.
The cartridge cases are brass or steel and have a distinct neck about one-third of the length from the projectile/case junction. Priming is electrical. The propellant employed on most of these rounds is GBTU, although the APFSDS-T employs B19T.
The types of ammunition currently in production are as follows:
OFL 105 F3 APFSDS-T
This round entered production in 1987 and uses the same tungsten-alloy long rod penetrator as the 90 mm OFL F1, adapted to fit a larger sabot assembly. Using B19T propellant, the projectile assembly has a muzzle velocity of 1,400 m/s and can penetrate a single heavy tank target at 1,000 m; the maximum useful combat range is 1,800 m.
OCC 105 F3 HEAT-T
For several years, until the production of the OFL 105 F3 APFSDS-T, the OCC 105 F3 was the only armour-defeating round carried by the AMX-10 RC. The warhead of the OCC 105 F3 projectile can defeat 100 mm of armour set at an angle of incidence of 70º, and the maximum useful combat range is 1,300 m. The muzzle velocity is 1,120 m/s.
The inert practice round used as the ballistic equivalent for this round is the BSCC 105 F3. It is fitted with a tracer element and a flash impact indicator. The round weight is 13.7 kg, the projectile weight is 5.7 kg and the muzzle velocity is 1,120 m/s.
OE 105 F3 HE
This round does not have a tracer element and is intended for use as a general-purpose munition. The maximum useful direct-fire range is 1,000 m, and the muzzle velocity is 800 m/s. The fragments produced on detonation have a lethal radius of 15 m.
OFUM 105 F3 smoke
This round is filled with White Phosphorus (WP) and can produce a smoke screen up to 75 m wide for 30 to 40 seconds. It is similar to the OE 105 Mle F3 round ballistically and thus has a maximum useful direct-fire range of 1,000 m and a muzzle velocity of 800 m/s. No tracer element is fitted.

The OFL 105 F2 is a variant with a DU penetrator and is in production for in-service CN105F1 guns fitted to French Army AMX-30B2 MBTs. It is understood to penetrate 540 mm of Rolled Homogeneous Armour (RHA) at 2,000 m. The weight of the round is 8 kg, and the weight of the projectile assembly is 6.25 kg. The overall round length is 990 mm, and the muzzle velocity is 1,525 m/s. The round is available with brass or steel cases."
Про итальянскую 52-калиберку ОТО Melara пишут, что она использует стандартные выстрелы от L7 и М68.
