Николай Флорин - письмо из Бельгии

Вот такое письмо пришло мне сегодня из Бельгии

Dear Sirs

Nicolai FLORIN (Nicolas FLORINE) is my grandfather ... born in Batoum in 1891 and dead in 1972 in Brussels (Belgium) ... I am deeply interested in finding back everything about the part of his life in Russia (1891 - 1917 / 1920) ... people told me that he was a noble (on his passport in Germany it was mentioned "von FLORIN" to remember the fact that he was a noble).

His father is Anatole engineer in Harbour construction who contributed to the Sebastopol Harbour construction (Black Sea Crimea) his mother is from Georgian origin (family name TARAS). My grandfather had a brother : Vladimir and a sister : Olga.

My grandfather received his diploma in May 1914 (Civil Engineer in aeronautical mechanic at the Institute of the Communications Ways in Sint-Petersburg) ... My grandfather had been attached to the Service of the Technical Comittee of the Central Administration of the Russian War Air Float ... whose Director was Dimitri Jacovleff (later Professor in Belgium too).

My Grandfather was Assistant at the Institute of Engineers of the very famous Professor S.Timoshenko .... place where my grandfather met around 1910 Igo Ivanovich Sikorsky.

Please help me to find a way to learn about my Grandfather's life in Russia ... I cannot speak Russian (you can write in English or French or Spanish to me).

Hereattached you will find a picture of his Russian Passport in 1920.

Thank you very much in advance !
